Lately, I’ve been trying to eat better and fried foods are not really “healthy” in my opinion. Everything in moderation right?!

Just the other day I made my Copy Cat Panda Express Orange Chicken Recipe and boy what a mess!

Copy Cat Panda Express Orange Chicken Recipe

I ended up making the hubby and kids clean up since I slaved in the kitchen for hours frying chicken!

Anyway, I came across a way to get the same result by just air baking. Basically you will take a cooling rack and place it inside a baking sheet an coat the rack with cooking spray. Sounds easy enough, but does it work?

Yes! I absolutely love this method and not only is it better for you than frying, it’s way easier to clean up! So don’t go spending a ton of money on an air fryer, just use your oven!

Try it and I bet you will be air baking everything! LOL! By the way, don’t tell anyone that they are eating Zucchini, because if they realize there are zucchini health benefits, they might not think it will taste good!

If you want to free up your oven for other food items, then you can absolutely get an air fryer like the one below!

  1. I just send this recipe to my Sister, I Knew she will like to make it too. I can’t wait to make it.
  2. Hmmm hate to burst your bubble but you are not "air frying" at all. You are oven baking. Air fryers use electric head from an element to create a tornado of HOT air around the food, which cooks it much faster. Your method is oven baked on a rack. Nice recipe however, so I'm going to adjust it to use in my air fryer. My oven doesn't work anymore...
