Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls Recipe

This recipe is so good and can be made for any occasion. I decided to take the basic Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls Recipe and make Chocolate Peanut Butter Hearts for Valentine’s Day and they turned out awesome!

My family loves Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and these taste almost identical! PLUS you know exactly what ingredients you are putting in your body which makes it “healthier” in my opinion 😉

I think they turned out great and would make a perfect gift for anyone on your list!

Make these beautiful Chocolate Peanut Butter Hearts for any occasion. These taste better than store bought!

Ingredients

  • 6 oz of peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup butter softened
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups of powdered sugar
  • 12 oz chocolate chips or chocolate bar {I used semi-sweet chocolate morsels}

Instructions

  1. Mix the peanut butter, butter, brown sugar and powdered sugar together in a mixer.
  2. Melt your chocolate chips in the microwave using a microwave safe bowl, stirring every 30-45 seconds.
  3. In your mold, {I used a heart} put enough chocolate to cover the bottom. Then add 1-2 teaspoons of your peanut butter mixture on top of the chocolate. Now add another 1-2 teaspoons of the chocolate to cover the peanut butter.
  4. Lay in your freezer until it gets hard and then take out and store in airtight container in your refrigerator.
  5. You might have to hide these!
