I tried to mix things up this summer and came up with this Homemade Salted Caramel Mocha Protein Shake Recipe. It also helps kick start your metabolism and gets to burning those calories right when we wake up. What better way to start your day! The added protein helps to start your day and makes it easy for those of us who have little to no time in the morning.

I stopped by the store and picked up some essentials to make a delicious coffee drink that would be healthier than those store bought coffee’s and not to mention a lot cheaper. I hate spending over $5 for something that I can make myself that is more nutritious.

Check out how easy this is to make! I used 1 Scoop of Purely Inspired Decadent Chocolate Organic Protein Shake Mix, 6 oz. Brewed Cold Coffee, 6 oz. Unsweetened Almond Milk, 2 oz. Torani Sugar Free Salted Caramel Syrup and Ice. I added all the ingredients to my Vitamix and blended until smooth. This recipe comes in at 92 Calories which is way better than 400 calories+ for the store bought version.

  1. I'd definitely make this. I've been looking into using 100% plant-based protein. I just recently got into smoothies, but they're like little powerhouses of vitamins and protein.
