Pork Chop and Rice Recipe

Ingredients
6 Pork Chops
2 cups uncooked rice
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
4 cloves of Garlic (can substitute 2 Tbsp Minced Garlic)
1 medium onion chopped (I substituted 1 Tbsp Onion Powder)
2 cans of Broccoli and Cheddar (Low-Fat) Soup
2 1/2 cups of water
2 cups of cheese (Cheddar or Montgomery Jack)
1/2 Tsp Pepper
1/4 Tsp Salt
Directions
In a large skillet, pour in Olive Oil and over medium heat, brown pork chops on both sides.Remove from pan and set aside on plate.
Combine onion, garlic, rice, salt and pepper in pan with remaining drippings. Cook for few minutes making sure to combine drippings with rice.
Add water and soup and mix well until soup is dissolved.
Pour Rice Mix into bottom of 9×13 pan. Mix in shredded cheese.
Place Pork Chops on top (depending on Pork Chop size you may need to stack them on each other.)
Cover pan and bake for 1 hour on 350*. Remove cover and bake an additional 15 minutes until Pork Chops are cooked thru and rice is cooked.
Remove and Serve.
