I LOVE Asian Food and so does my family. Whenever my mom comes to town, she asks if we can make my super delicious Egg Rolls. I feel like I have pretty much perfected this recipe, but still need help with making Vegetable Fried Rice. When it comes to making restaurant style Fried Rice, I turn to Ling Ling and their Fried Rice line that includes five unique dishes. Pair that with my super easy Egg Roll Recipe and you will never want take out again.
I learned How to Make Egg Rolls from a very nice friend of mine about 15 years ago when we were living in Germany. She was from Cambodia and taught me so many delicious recipes that are by far, better than any take out I have tasted. This Homemade Pork Egg Rolls Recipe with Fried Rice can be changed up many ways by changing what meat you use and or vegetables. You can make these ahead of time and cook them right before eating them.
You can also pair these fabulous Egg Rolls with any of the five unique Fried Rice dishes that can be found at your local Walmart.

I think what makes Ling Ling have superior flavor and exceptional taste is because they cook using an Infusion Method.

Homemade Pork Egg Rolls
Ingredients
- small head of shredded cabbage
- 5-6 shredded carrots
- 5 scallions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon ground ginger
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons pepper
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons five spice powder (optional)
- 2 teaspoons white pepper
- 2 pounds cooked ground pork (drained)
- 1 package egg roll wrappers (about 24 pieces)
- 1 egg, beaten
- Peanut or vegetable oil, for frying
Instructions
- Cook pork and drain. Season pork with ginger, salt, pepper, garlic powder and five spice powder. Mix thoroughly. Set aside.
- In another large skillet heat oil to about 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) or medium high heat. While oil is heating, combine the cabbage, carrots, scallions, and reserved pork mixture. Mix all together.
- Lay out one egg roll skin with a corner pointed toward you. Place about a 1/4 to 1/3 cup of the cabbage, carrot and pork mixture on egg roll paper and fold corner up over the mixture. Fold left and right corners toward the center and continue to roll. Brush a bit of the beaten egg on the final corner to help seal the egg roll.
- Place egg rolls into heated oil and fry, turning occasionally, until golden brown. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels or rack. Put on serving plate and Enjoy!
