Ahhh…how I love Saturday mornings. This is the day that my husband gets up with the kids and I get to lie in bed and snooze. My husband will get up, feed the dogs, play with the kids and make breakfast. When I say breakfast, I mean his always perfect, amazing crepes. He grabs the flour, milk, eggs, butter, and “other secret ingredients” and creates the lightest, thinnest crepes I have ever eaten. I love when the kids come to gently wake me up to let me know that the crepes are ready. Without the dairy aisle in the grocery store, none of this would be possible.
There are many other culinary delights that we enjoy during the week that come from the refrigerated dairy aisle. Culinary expert has partnered with the National Frozen & Refrigerated Foods (NFRA) to bring to American inventive cuisine ideas that are crafted from foods in the refrigerated dairy aisle. The recipes Aida developed offer a perfect balance of taste and health, and showcases the food’s fresh, nutritious, farm produced ingredients. Throughout 2013, amateur chefs (like me) will discover a bounty of fantastic ideas on the Dish Dairy Tumblr – The National Frozen & Refrigerated Foods Association’s photo blog (TheDishDiary.Tumblr.com). You can even upload you own creations!
