Easy Asian Side Dishes
You know how I’m always looking for healthier and easier ways to bring dinner to the table for my family. Well I could not pass up the opportunity to attend a dinner with other bloggers and learn some new tips and recipes from a professional Chef! I was invited to a sponsored event by Ling Ling Fried Rice at BLVD Kitchen in Los Angeles, with Chef Katie Chin teaching us these new techniques.
We were split into groups and shown how to make three Easy Asian Side Dishes that would accompany Ling Ling Fried Rice main dishes.
The three dishes were Japanese Cucumber Salad, Marinated Soy Bean Sprouts, and Miso Butter Portobello Mushroom Skewers. I couldn’t believe how easy and tasty all the dishes turned out.
We also prepared and sampled the Yakitori Chicken, Bibimbap Beef, Chinese-Style Vegetable flavors of Ling Ling Fried Rice which paired perfectly with our side dishes above.
My favorite Ling Ling Fried Rice would have to be theYakitori Chicken! If you haven’t tried the new line of Fried Rice, be sure to use this printable $2 Off coupon to purchase new Ling Ling Fried Rice entrees at stores near you.
You can choose between:
- Yakitori Chicken
- Yakiniku Beef
- Thai-Style Chicken
- Chinese-Style Vegetable
- Bibimbap Beef
All the side dishes turned out perfectly, but I have to admit that the Miso Butter Portobello Mushroom Skewers were the bomb! I actually headed to the store the next day to grab the ingredients to make it for my family. It turned out to be a hit!
I really love how you can keep Ling Ling Fried Rice in your freezer and have it ready for dinner quicker than you could do takeout. PLUS they use all natural ingredients with no artificial colors or flavors, and use an infusion cooking method; infusing each grain of rice with their signature sauces. They also flash-freeze their vegetables immediately after harvest, so they maintain their nutrition and flavor all the way to your table.
