#PayitForward – Gutzy Gear Back To School Backpack Event!

I was recently given the opportunity to pay it forward thanks to the generosity of Gutzy Gear. Gutzy Gear provided several bloggers with $25 each and asked that they purchase a backpack, fill it with school supplies, and donate it to a child in need. Each blogger was also encouraged to take advantage of store sales and coupons so that the money would stretch farther and hence, provide more school supplies.

If you haven’t heard of Gutzy Gear, you might be wondering what it’s all about. Gutzy Gear is a great, new way for kids to express themselves by customizing their backback, sports duffel, messenger bag, and more!

I waited until the last minute to see how much I could get on clearance 🙂

Here is what I was able to get:

• Backpack

• Lunchbox

• 2 packages of college ruled paper

• 2 spiral notebooks

• 1 composition book

• tape

• scissors

• 2 packs of glue

• 1 package of ball point pens

• 3 packages of tissue

• 2 packs of crayons

I was $.28 under budget!!!! {Using my Target REDcard thru me off, because I forgot about the 5% discount!!}

My back pack is going to a local school for a child in need. I love being able to Pay It Forward, especially when children are involved. Events like this that make me proud to be a blogger. Thank you to both Gutzy Gear and Madame Deals Media for making this possible.
