I just love fried pickles! Not sure if you have seen my other recipe that very similar to this for Fried Pickles. Both recipes are very easy with just a few differences in the ingredients.

Copy Cat Hooters Fried Pickles Recipe
I love fried pickles! Here is a copycat fried pickles recipe!
Ingredients
- 2 quarts vegetable oil
- 1 (16-ounce) jar hamburger dill pickle chips
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 2 cups whole-wheat flour
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Instructions
- Heat the oil to 350
- Drain pickles.
- Place the buttermilk in one bowl and in another bowl combine the following: flour, salt, paprika, and cayenne pepper
- Place each pickle in the buttermilk then dredge in the flour then back into the buttermilk then dredge into the flour again {so worth it to do it 2 times!}
- Once the heat is at 350, fry the pickles {not to many at once}
- Fry until golden brown, place the fried pickles onto a paper towel ( it will drain the excess oil)
To make the sauce
- in a small bowl combine ranch dressing and hot sauce. I did 1/4 ranch dressing to about 15 drops of hot sauce
