Homemade Cheesy Stuffed Pretzels are the perfect snack, appetizer, or game day food! These are fast, easy and a family favorite.

I’ve got Spring Fever! I thought it would be fun to host a small Spring Fever party to get in the mood for the approaching season. Have a few friends over, have a few appetizers followed by a light meal. Nothing extravagant, just something cozy with a few close friends.

I always like to think of a really basic snack that everyone loves and step it up a notch.

I’m making these pretzels with a creamy and flavorful Kaukauna® Cheese wrapped in dough. This is the perfect party food. Wait until you taste how this cheese transforms the pretzels into something you will keep coming back for more.

Your going to start by preheating the oven to 425 degrees F. Then bring a pot filled with 2 quarts of water to a boil and slowly add baking soda.

While waiting for it to boil, spread out the pizza dough onto a lightly greased baking sheet and cut into 8 equal size rectangles.

Then your going to top the dough with the Kaukauna® Cheese. Fold the dough around the cheese, making sure to pinch the seams closed. You don’t have to make the shape I made, but I thought it was the easiest. Don’t overfill or it’ll be hard to close up.

By now your water should be ready. Use a slotted spoon to dip the dough into the boiling water and then place back on the baking sheet.

Put these pretzels in the oven and wait just about 10-12 minutes!

I’m sure you are wondering what Kaukauna® Cheese is and what makes it different.

Kaukauna® Cheese comes in cups, logs, and balls that can be found at various grocery stores. We purchased ours from the local Safeway. Kaukauna® is a high-quality cheese that’s made with 100% real cheddar. I bet you will be able to tell the difference. I really enjoy using Kaukauna® Cheese because it makes entertaining easy!

I used the Sharp Cheddar Kaukauna® Cheese Spread Cup that is available in 6.5oz and 11.3oz. They also have cheese flavors to include Port Wine, Extra Sharp Cheddar, Smoky Cheddar, Asiago Cheese Garden, and Vegetable Bacon Jalapeño. YUM!

We kept it simple for this recipe but there are so many combinations you could try. Especially with all the cheese variations I mentioned above. You could add pepperoni, sausage, jalapeno, bacon, and so much more.

After letting these cook for about 10 minutes, I barely got them out of the oven when the entire family came rushing in trying to grab one.

You can serve these Homemade Stuffed Pretzels at your next party with various appetizers like chips, pinwheels, fruits and vegetables then watch your guests keep coming back for more.
