Who doesn’t want to make money?  Have you ever said to yourself, “I want to make more from my savings, but don’t know where to start.”…or even thought, “How can I teach my kids the value of investing with starting costs they can afford?”  Online Stock Trading for Beginners isn’t as hard as you think!

I am married to a trained Quant with a Mathematical Finance Master’s degree.  He handles all of our personal finance choices, but there are things that I want to do with the income I make from my site and to help my kids learn from his example to make great decisions in life with their incomes now to be ready for the future.

WHY DOES THIS MATTER TO ME?

I see Pat move our money from place to place making great decisions based on his market experience and expertise in the field.  It seems to me to take lots of money upfront and lots of effort to do what he does.

In this area, I have always felt too insecure and especially underfunded to make investments on my own. I want to take my contributions to this family and capitalize on the earnings, but feel often that the cost of entry into this field to be too high.

Plus in teaching my children responsible money management, I sense Pat is too busy with his job and our personal finances to give the extra time to teach them what they need to know.  I want to do this…

WHAT WORKS FOR ME?

So now, I found Stockpile.  It is a solution for those of us who lack the formal training required to make investments alone and couples this with a way to buy portions of shares of stocks so that I don’t have the huge initial investment worries plus smaller subsequent investment options that keep me and my kids in the business. I showed this to my husband and he said, “Cool…great idea…”

They provide the training, software, and fractional stock investments we need to be successful.  They wrote a book entitled, “Stock Up. A Rookie’s Guide to Investing in the Stock Market.”

This book starts with teaching you the basics. Then, it teaches you how to make an investment plan and, finally, shows you how to “stock up” using the stockpile system. All of this is written in simple to understand terms and easy to follow game plans that anyone could use to be successful.

STOCKPILE INVESTMENTS:

I started with $25 and used this amount to test my abilities with what I’ve learned with Stockpile. This is not a lot of money to me, but still enough to where I was nervous about the outcome. I bought a portion of shares in NVIDIA (NVDA), which is a company my son knew for his love of video games. They build the video hardware that powers his favorite games.

At the time in May, the cost for one share was around $102.  I couldn’t even afford one share with $25!! With stockpile, I could buy a fraction of a share and still benefit from owning a portion of this company!!

Since this time, the stock has climbed to around $145. This turned my $25 investment into $35!! I know this doesn’t seem like a lot, but imagine doing this with $25 per paycheck or for the kids with $10 per allowance payout.  This would multiply quickly and give smaller amounts of money the exposure to the earning potential of the stock market.
