This dish is soooooo easy! I didn’t realize how much my family was going to LOVE it and I’m glad they do because it’s very simple!! This recipe was made initially because I didn’t have a lot of ingredients on hand! My kids really love this Korean Beef Recipe and I love it because it’s so easy!

Korean Beef Recipe {using Ground Beef}

Korean Beef Recipe {using Ground Beef}

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh ginger
  • crushed red pepper, to desired spiciness
  • ground pepper
  • 6 green onions, diced

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and brown hamburger with garlic in the sesame oil.
  2. Drain fat and add brown sugar, soy sauce, ginger, red pepper and ground pepper.
  3. Simmer for a few minutes to blend flavors.
  4. Serve over steamed rice and top with green onions.
  5. It's sooooo delicious!!!

    I use the same recipe, but use caramel vodka in place of the whipped. Give it a shot! Deeelish! :)
  4. I've never tried making Korean beef at home, but we love it. Can't wait to give this recipe a go!
