Easy Frito Pie Recipe

Ingredients
- Frito Pie Recipe
- Makes 8 to 10 servings.
- 1 pound Ground Beef
- 1 can Black Beans
- 2 cup Salsa
- 1/2 Onion
- 1 envelope Taco Seasoning
- 2 cups Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- 1 - 10 1/4 oz. bag of Fritos
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Lightly spray a 9"x13" baking dish
- Add about 2 cups Fritos on bottom of dish.
- Cook ground beef until meat is browned & drain off any excess oil.
- Stir in beans, salsa, taco seasoning mix, onion and 1/2 cup cheese. Bring the mixture up to a boil.
- Cover Fritos with meat & bean mixture.
- Top with remaining Fritos and cheese.
- Bake about 10-15 minutes. Long enough to melt cheese well.
- Serve hot with different types of toppings so everyone can make their favorite. Sour cream, green onions & jalapenos are great with this!
