  • 2 quarts vegetable oil
  • 1 (16-ounce) jar hamburger dill pickle chips
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 2 cups whole-wheat flour
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

  1. Heat the oil to 350
  2. Drain pickles.
  3. Place the buttermilk in one bowl and in another bowl combine the following: flour, salt, paprika, and cayenne pepper
  4. Place each pickle in the buttermilk then dredge in the flour then back into the buttermilk then dredge into the flour again {so worth it to do it 2 times!}
  5. Once the heat is at 350 â?? fry the pickles {not to many at once}
  6. Fry until golden brown â?? place the fried pickles onto a paper towel ( it will drain the excess oil)
  7. To make the sauce â?? in a small bowl combine ranch dressing and hot sauce â?? I did 1/4 ranch dressing to about 15 drops of hot sauce
  8. Enjoy!
  9. You can make it gluten free by using gluten free flour and sauce. We tried it, and it was just as delicious!
